Our guides have years of experience in understanding duck behavior, allowing them to share valuable insights throughout your trip. Gabe Evrard
Gabe grew up hunting waterfowl, deer, and turkeys in Southern Illinois. His passion for hunting, calling, and improving his skills led him to become a championship goose caller, inspired by master outdoorsmen like Tim and Hunter Grounds and his stepdad, Tyson Shoot. He began guiding hunts at 16 and has continued ever since, spending most of his time hunting with friends and family. Gabe founded GETM Waterfowl to offer both beginners and experts access to Illinois and Arkansas’s premier waterfowl hunting locations, prioritizing his hunters’ success.
Travis McReynolds
Travis, born and raised in Southern Illinois, has spent much of his life outdoors, fueled by his passion for hunting and fishing. He finds joy in seeing new outdoorsmen learn and enjoy themselves while building their skills. When not hunting or working, Travis enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Dillion Lascelles
Dillion grew up in Ipava, IL, in a family with a strong hunting tradition. His early years involved deer, turkey, and small game hunting, with the occasional waterfowl hunt alongside his dad. He began hunting solo at his grandpa’s farm when he was 11. After moving to Southern Illinois in December 2015, he fully embraced the area’s public hunting sites. Dillion started waterfowl hunting with Travis and Gabe in 2020 and has been hooked ever since.
Tanner Watts
Tanner hails from a small town in Southern Illinois and has been pursuing waterfowl for over 12 years. He’s been with GETM Waterfowl for three years and has a passion for chasing geese, whether it’s big Canada geese or large flocks of snow geese. Tanner is excited to meet new hunters and looks forward to sharing successful hunts with them.
Cody Johnson
Cody is native to a small town in Western Kentucky and has been pursuing waterfowl and upland birds across the country for over 15 years. In the off-season, he trains Labrador retrievers and takes pride in providing top-quality service with his dogs. Now in his second year as an Arkansas Guide for GETM Waterfowl, Cody is passionate about chasing ducks and massive flocks of Snow Geese. He’s looking forward to meeting everyone this season and creating memorable hunts together!
Carson McCord
Carson McCord, originally from Southeast Missouri, is in his second season with GETM Waterfowl but has been waterfowl hunting since he shot his first snow goose at age six. He’s traveled across the U.S. and Canada to hunt, yet finds nothing quite compares to the thrill of a snow goose rainout in Arkansas or Southern Illinois. Carson is eager to welcome new clients and reconnect with returning hunters for another great season.
Chris Clutts
Chris, a Southern Illinois native, is a dedicated outdoorsman and conservationist with a passion for all types of hunting. Starting at age six with whitetail hunting, he discovered waterfowl at 12 and has since pursued them across the U.S. Known for his professionalism and commitment to safety, Chris always puts his clients’ success first, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience in the blind.
Corey Anderer
Corey, raised in Southern Illinois, has hunting in his blood. His passion for waterfowl began on his first youth hunt, where he harvested a Drake green-wing, wood duck, and a mallard hen. Since then, he has pursued waterfowl across both public and private lands, and by the late ’90s, he was hunting at local Canada goose clubs. Mentored by skilled outdoorsmen and championship callers, Corey started guiding at sixteen. He especially enjoys seeing youth in the blind and strives to make their experience unforgettable.
John Brantley
John Brantley hails from Southern Illinois and grew up hunting throughout the state and nearby areas. He began his waterfowl pursuits at the age of five alongside his dad and has been dedicated to it ever since. John has guided waterfowl hunts since he was 16, and this marks his second season with GETM. Passionate about both the fire service and hunting geese—whether honkers, snows, or anything in between—he looks forward to welcoming everyone who joins this season for a memorable experience.
